From its humble beginnings as a local San Francisco fundraiser that featured a single crab pot in 1891, The Salvation Army’s Red Kettle Campaign has grown into one of the most recognizable charitable events in the United States. The Loudoun County community relies on the money raised from the Red Kettle Campaign for holiday assistance as well as year-round services.  All money collected in Loudoun remains in this community to best meet our ever-growing local needs.

The Salvation Army of Loudoun County can successfully fulfill its mission for neighbors in need thanks to dedicated volunteers who share their skills and time to enhance our programs throughout the year. Each year our Red Kettle volunteers greet shoppers with smiles, warmth, and hope. We are always in need of volunteers to ring the bell. For families, it’s a great way to teach your children about charity and goodwill toward men. Professional and civic groups and faith communities can bond and give back to the community when they volunteer to ring the bell. When you give, Hope Marches On.
