When you shop at a thrift store or donate gently-used items, you can make a difference in the lives of countless people in our community.
Donations can be made at our retail store, 10 Cardinal Park Drive Leesburg, VA. Please come to the last garage door on the right side of the building.
Any drop-off donations before and after hours are discouraged and considered illegal dumping (By Virginia State code Section 33.1-346 )
The revenue from the sale of your donations helps to fund the many services and resources that The Salvation Army provides to the residents of Loudoun County. We gratefully accept gently-used contributions that can be sold in our store or given to neighbors in need. Please bag or box donated items to make the donation process easy and efficient. Loose items are difficult for employees to handle and take more time to collect.
All donations to The Salvation Army are tax deductible. Ask for a receipt at the time of your donation. A donation value guide for tax purposes can be found here. Staple the receipt you receive from our organization to your own itemized list. Give this list to your tax preparer, who will determine your eligible deduction amount.

The Donation Center is open to accept donations Tuesday – Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. WE ARE NOT OPEN ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY. Please do not leave your donations, your donation runs the risk of being ruined. Every item donated has the potential to make a life-changing difference! When you bring a bag with clothes, appliances, and gently used items to your local thrift store, we process and sort these items, then add them to our shelves and clothing racks for purchase. Every dollar generated goes directly to funding our programs and services that support your local community.
